Not necessarily... they just need the temporary assistance of someone on a different account to add 4 characters on a single account. At which point the temporary person can transfer ownership and leave the FC. All 4 remaining people would then be on a single account and still meeting the minimum requirements that were needed to start an FC. Or they could just get 3 friends to make an alt and leave it in their FC.

Sorry not trying to be annoying, but just trying to point out even if such restrictions were put in place, they don't really do anything.

Well I did say it likely wouldn't do much, but I'm pretty sure they could only create 8 characters per server at the most, or something like that. So they'd have to have a pretty dedicated friend to co-own each house with in order to maintain the volume of houses that they can own under the current setup. They'd be hard pressed to make the same amount flipping them without either splitting with another player or shelling out money for a second account which would cost rl. And if they're just hanging on to them just to have them, a few hoops to continually jump through might make it a little less worth the effort.

Some people would jump through the hoops, some would be deterred by it. I guess the value of a system like this would depend on how many houses it opened up to the general population of the server. Then again, if the devs would put a cap on how many houses can be owned per account per server, that would help the situation too.

I wonder how many people on large servers quit because they could not get a house. I would of. Getting the small was not hard, but it took quite a while waiting and watching to upgrade to a medium. I love that they are doubling interior item counts. I wish I had about 10 more outside slots along with it.

Do what the rest of us that were lucky enough to get a house did. Either wake up early when they're releasing a new housing area/wards, or check the housing areas on the hour for new plots being demolished. With our current system those are your options.
