Mouse controls for movement: how to make left click move character around

Possible?

for example: when I click behind my character the character runs backwards

for example: left click moves the character instead of HOLDING left+right click



why am I trying to do this?: because i prefer that my right hand is completely in control of the character and i do not have to use WASD keys to make quick movements such as dodging backwards, flipping 180 degrees, etc.

I understand that not every movement command will be available to a mouse, perhaps unless i have a macro mouse, which I plan to get, but I do not think asking for movement with left click is that much to ask.

This isn't a MOBA. The best advise I can offer you is holding both RMB and LMB to move forwards. Move mouse to change camera vector.
But otherwise, WASD is the movement standard.

so there is no way to make it so that LMB+RMB can be changed to simply LMB ? i figure there must be some config menu for this

You can't use the mouse buttons in the keybind setting since that's also used for setting and unsetting them, so the LMB+RMB is set in stone.
Plus there are times you'll need to click on things and not move!
