But that's what the mentor systems is supposed to be about. Helping people. Yoshida put the reward in to reward those who are willing to take to time to help others. The people who do not do what they are supposed to as a mentor, they need their title and chances for the rewards removed. Punish the bad eggs, not those of us who try their best to be great mentors.

What about mentors who are specific category mentors. I want to be a pvp mentor only (And wear the appropriate flag). I don't want to be a PvE or crafting mentor, but people will still expect me to be all three even though I really just want to mentor and feel comfortable with pvp.

Bad Mentor Solution: Become a good mentor to outweigh the bad.

Nah it's easier to complain about mentors than to be the change they seek.

SE should have include a comm and uncomm bottom that all players would be forced to do it. If they don't give a rate to the mentor they ran with. They wont be able to leave the dungeon. The crown would given to the people who has certain # of good rate. Kind of like the dismiss vote that give you reason why you give them the crown. It could help a new mentor to see what is their strength and work in the weak points (traits)

That's another topic. Being answered rudely when trying to help, may happen to everyone, not only mentors, btw.

To be fair this goes both ways, anyone can be a jerk not just mentors, anyone can initiate the kick, others even have to vote on it. A jerk is a jerk if they dont have a crown next to their name that wont stop them from being a jerk and trying to initiate kicking people.

I think that the rewards for mentors should either be scrapped, and given by other means, or they should be reduced so that the people who just want the rewards take them and leave.
