Dun scaith, proto ultima and succ-woman

We have done dun scaith without proto ultima and fought succ-woman instead in that storyline for dunscaith.. Just once.
What doesnt add up is replacing succ-woman too proto ultima in dun scaith on lore wise.
Goblins tells us to revisit dun scaith to look around for proto ultima. Ferdinafbdid and diablos and the queen alrdy died ONCE in the storyline. But somewhat got resummoned omce again when we visit dun once more time to find proto ultima.

Did succ-woman ever existed or what. Not sure if u guys understood what i ment. Im crap at explaining..

We're constantly delving into our memories and somehow acquiring tangible rewards from it (Basically the story behind almost all of the Heavensward/ARR Savage/Extreme difficulty instances, the exceptions being any primal not named King Thordan), so I wouldn't think too hard about it.

Also, the only pre-requisite for the quest is to have Dun Scaith unlocked, so it is possible to fight Proto Ultima on your first clear.

The succubus was clearly a placeholder for Proto Ultima, as anyone doing the quest for the first time will never see the succubus from 3.55a onward. You will always see Proto Ultima.

I know what you meant the Goblin even says we've already been there and need to go back, so the bosses have already been defeated.
It's not like the Warrior of Light left the oven on, on the way to DunScaith and turned the airship around and didn't return since.

Lore and story reasons were an oversight.

Can say if you pick up quest for proto ultima without completing Dun Scath 1st the goblin basically says its a good day as he has heard you are planning an assult on Dun scath

I shouldn't be laughing so hard at succ-woman and that beautiful butchering of Ferdiad's name but honestly i'm crying right now and it's great

I would argue that Void Sent never really die, but then that would only apply to Ominous Carpet and Ferdiad. Stick Lady and Diabolos kinda fused and the latter was sealed away... I think?
