yea unless you are leveling 3 different crafts at once you wont even use 2-3 of the element shards. if you have 9999 of a shard and are crying about losing the extra i suggest crafting, since they update u dont use nearly as many shards as you used to (and even more before). 15 shards per synth was bad but its not even close to that now so i think your argument is kinda dumb
