trouble tanking faust help plz?

Hello citizens, here is my current faust rotation :

. I am having a little trouble with doing a lot of DPS, my group tells me that they're going to drop me soon because I don't meet their standsards. Would anybody be able ot help me get out of the grey gutter and help me understand what's going on? Thanks for the help. I have a lot of trouble figuring things out on my own due to my cerebral autism that I've had since birth.

You're only using your Power Slash (aggro) combo from what I've seen which is NOT your damage combo. Your damage combo is Dark arts + Soul eater and you should always be using this as much as you can. Power slash should be only used every now and then to make sure you have aggro, not all the time. You're also not applying your DoT (Scourge) which is a HUGE DPS loss. I'd recommend you looking up some DRK guides and rotations.
I'm not sure if you have darkside on but you must have it 100% of the time, making sure to manage your MP accordingly.

I'm a little confused. You're basically only using your 1-2-3 aggro ability with un-DA CS thrown in and say your raid is threatening to throw you out, but your tank gear is 90% 270 Alexandrian?

Now, I can't tell if your post is referring to killing faust Z or fullmetal, becuase I've been in ambitious pugs that wanted to speedrun a9s and kill faust at the NE quadrant, or faust Z at the entrance. For Z, use your aggro combo, turn off grit, use CDs as necessary, then alternate between DA soul eater and delirium. Faust has a set pattern and at some point likes to use double AoEs, so for this pop LD in advanced. Join some pugs and get a feel for when that tends to happen. Afterwards you should be fine tanking without grit and pump as much DPS as possible.

As for full metal, clear line of sight and use plunge on faust when the boss is casting scrapline and don't even touch aggro combo, go ham.

I can do a short comparison between yours and mine (a very old parse with similar timing):

1. You are not pressing all the buttons available to you, I have 53 casts VS your 35 casts. Always try to weave in Off-GCDs like Plunge, Salted Earth etc.

2. You used non buffed Carve and Spit, that's 350 potency difference that you lose.

3. I did 7 full combo (1x Power Slash, 5 Souleaters, 1 Delirium) VS your 6 combo. Lag or not fast enough IDK, that's for you to figure out.

4. You are using 6 Power Slashes combos, means that you are not using your mana optimally. Try to understand how Dark Arts works, because this single skill defines how DRK should be played. For example, Dark Arts into Souleater buffs the modifier by a good amount. READ YOUR TOOLTIP, don't be like most people who just press buttons.

5. This game, like other games with combo chain, requires a lot of brain work for a starter because the rotation dance is always a very tight one and there are always going to be a process that you have to understand. Different contents require different rotation and opener, this is especially true for the raid tier contents.
