tl;dr OP is still mad that he can't have the gear he wants when other people outroll him, and is incapable of the abstract concept of seeing things from a perspective other than his own

Words to live by.Expecting everybody to play the game the way you do is not a way to foster a pleasant experience for anybody.
Everybody is entitled to whatever loot is thrown into the game. Everybody pays a subscription, everybody is entitled to that content.
Throwing a tantrum because you didn't get some gear you wanted for a class you weren't even playing? It's hardly the end of the world. If you want a particular piece/set of gear so badly ask politely at the start of the dungeon or run said dungeon multiple times. Hell, I'm not even one of the people you seem to have such a vendetta towards (I'm hardly a veteran, don't really participate in desynthing/GC dailies etc) and I still think it's a pretty ridiculous idea.
So your entire plan is to make the Anima impossible for those who haven't the money to buy the crafted components? Also that and I recently got my first house and now am looking to getting an aethrite for my front yard.

The only real answer to this thread. His idea is way better.
I'm not sure both ideas sound good. If Vanitas gets all the gear he walks off into the sunset skipping away, yet if Cordie gets the gear he runs off laughing whilst taking a s#@t on each of us in the process as a thank you. I think I will need to think carefully about where I will put my like.
I would like to hear your pro's and con's on who deserves the gear more.
Wow OP sounds like a robot, anyway, That whole system you propose is idiotic, I get gear to glam/GC turns in for my anima relics so I'll be needing it......
Not sure this needed it's own thread considering the other one on essentially the same subject has been reaching the first page for most of the week now.
There is loosing a roll due to luck of the draw. Then there is loosing a roll due to someone who doesn't give a rat's behind about that particular item deciding that the 800 seals they could get from it is important enough to completely remove your chance of getting a 30 ilevel increase for one of the other jobs you're leveling at the same time.
Why is your off-job more important than my 800 seals? Those seals are useful to me - I use them to fund my Squadrons, pay for Ventures, buy crafting materials, and so on and so forth. There's no reason I should feel any obligation to sacrifice my own indirect progression in favor of your direct progression (if gearing an off-job can even be considered direct progression). There is loosing a roll due to luck of the draw. You don't get to decide which is more important. A need is a need. He needs those seals for something and yea it is "important enough" to remove your chance of getting it.There is loosing a roll due to luck of the draw.
