You will also be hurting new players too who will struggle to get the items needed for lucis tools outside of the MB, gear up to ilvl 100, Ventures, Keepers Hymn, Survival manuals, barding and even them having access to a chocobo lol.

Make any of these harder to get and see the prices increase tenfold on the market board.

Also spiritbond potions will be an added expense via seals or marketboard this item would also skyrocket. HW gear also seems to take a lot longer to spiritbond compared to ARR gear.

Then we have items from desynth every recipe on the market board that contains these items will increase in value, again making it harder for new people to gear up.
