    DEVS: While Rebalancing Job Actions, Please Remember PvP

    As the title says, please remember that there are skills that are perhaps not terribly useful in PvE content that are VERY useful in PvP. Things like bind/heavy/slow skills, BLM's Freeze, MNK's One Ilm Punch, etc. At the worst, if they must be removed from PvE, have them remade into PvP skills.

    Please do NOT overlook PvP or job/skill balance with PvP in mind as well.

    yes think both pve/pvp when rebalancing, it's how both pve and pvp can be a success.

    They've already made pvp specific changes to abilities in pvp before, I don't see why they'd forget to balance around pvp now when they've done so in the past. Especially recently now that they seem to be paying more attention to that aspect of the game.

    I think they mean to say that with the 3.0 pve job change, they totally changed the pvp too, pvp became very bursty, if they add other ability out of cooldown it could go even worse.
    It's just a "take this in mind while thinking to pve skill balancing"

    Yes, as I read the comments from the devs (iirc;paraphrasing "...some skills are useless like freeze and one ilm punch..."), it seems to me that PvP isn't thought about at all. They talk about adjusting the battle system to make things more relevant, but... they are already relevant in PvP. wth?

    Or maybe I'm being pessimistic, and read stuff into what they say.

    If I were to design an mmo like FF14, I would 1st balance things around PvP before tackling PvE. Imo it's much easier to transition balance from PvP to PvE than the other way around.

    Kindly think about PvP when balancing jobs and abilities.

    Also, when balancing, kindly conjure up balance that has nothing to do with potion boxes, Adrenaline, or culling time.
