SAMURAI AND RED MAGE RELICS

On topic, Ama-no-murakumo stands out as something I'd like to see SAM receive in some regard and for RDM I think I'd like to see Murgleis perhaps or even the Atma sword from VI since the blue glowing blade strikes me as fitting contrast.

Somewhat diverging from the topic, I was discussing this with a friend that one thing that bothers me is the idea of RDM and SAM missing 2 sets of artifact gear and respective weapons. If they start at 50 I think it would be nice if they were given a set of artifact gear to solidify the image, with a weapon that is fittingly iconic to them without being something we view as a "this should be an endgame weapon" in terms of looks or name. This idea spawned from all the previous artifact sets we've received and the knowledge that we skipped lv50 for MCH DRK and AST (which I also would argue need a "lower level" artifact set for nothing but glamour reasons, because glams are life) leading me to be a bit morose at the idea of missing the opportunity for more job specific armor to glamour for these two.

I agree. RDM and SAM, if starting at level 50 should be given their AF for their 52-60 job quests. The AF4 gear for all jobs will likely be the new Philosophy/Esoterics.

Our relic, I hope it's unique. I'd like a glow effect where it creates glowing afterimages when swung.

For SAM they could use Murakumo or kusanagi sword, for the RDM they can reference many swords from Arthurian era or even name one "Silver Chariot".... BRAVO!!! (JoJo no kimiyou na bouken reference)

For Samurai may as well be Masamune ( Honjo Masamune ) would seem the most obvious one in my opinion, like Heavensward it's likely it will be obtained from new expansion. I would actually like to see it as an Anima but doubt it. For Red Mage I would like to see the mythical rapier Nemesis.
