By the way, I'd also like to add that they probably won't want to add "ultima" weapons to the game yet, since we're only level 50 right now and -just- past the first year mark. Maybe 5-6 years in they might add weapons with those names (I'd love to see some weapons with heavy-FF-influenced names) but for now I just don't see it. However, I do believe they could run with the idea and name it something different, like "Sword of the Primals".

I like the idea of Bahamut returning (I REALLY hope he's part of the 7th umbral event), so I'd love something epic to get from him. I just hope they don't keep up with this whole "Weapons only" deal. We have plenty of weapons to go around. What we need now is "class" specific gear to give everyone a bit more identity for their classes (when not playing a job)

I agree about the armor, I always thought weapons would be a primal thing and armor would be a dungeon thing (whish is sort of how it is now considering the strongholds, but they are too chaotic) So I don't mind if they stick to that track.

In regards to the Ultima Weapons, sure they don't have to call it that, better if the save it, I agree, but the concept of using all their weapons to make one that triumphs all sounds great! And yes we definitely need to fight Bahumut before this is over, even if it's a wounded Bahumut, he'll still have enough to rape us.

They can always try putting the primals into an actual dungeon, and let pieces of armor drop from the different dungeons. For example, all boots from Garuda dungeon, or it doesn't have to be boots for every class, but one piece of of the supposed "AF" armor from each dungeon.

So by the time you're done all the primals and their dungeons you got your class identity and a badass weapon that you worked hard for and ready to put some dents in Bahumut!

I'd love to see the primals shown in an actual dungeon instead of a single fight. Would make them feel like they are on a more "grand" scale.

Step #3: After however many primal battles they squeeze in, you need one from each primal battle to forge the "Ultimate Weapon" and then they implement Bahamut (who if I remember right is non elemental) as the last primal battle before 2.0, who, although you win the fight, maybe does some crazy shit to end the world and revamp Eorzea into 2.0

This is freaking genius lol I would fight Ifrit and Moogle to obtain items (or weapons) to forge an ultimate weapon.

It would be very worthwhile otherwise I have zero interest in fighting primal (especially ones that are old)

The reason I dont want to do Ifrit is I aint a 50lnc lol and reason I probably wont do Moogle is I dont like the weapon.

Yeah, I'm definitely warming up to the "ultimate weapon" idea, I just don't think they should go with that name. But it does make them give you reasons to want to collect all the different weapons from different primals! Though, the only problem is that we pretty much know Meteor is what's going to be the revamp event of Eorzea. At least from what I've heard.

I'd still LOVE to fight Bahamut soon though. Would be a wonderful experience~

Maybe after we almost slay Bahamut he calls forth the meteor that will send us through the transformation. Meteor is non elemental right? Like Bahumut?
