    As others have said there's really no need to start over. FFXIV is all about having everything in one character. You will be back up to the level of your white mage in no time by doing daily roulette and dungeons.

    Yes, the game is designed to not have to have more than one character, but if you want to feel fresh and new again, make a new character - there is no harm in it.

    There are many reasons to begin anew. Enjoy the game for all that it has to offer: find your niche. That is what's most important.

    The best method to level up currently is Palace Of The Dead you can unlock it at level 17 you don't need any Gear for palace of the dead so its perfect place to get some levels
