I would need to check the list to be sure but the only content you're not required to do to unlock the mentor roulette is the coils everything else you need to have including 24 man raids and extreme primals.

Mentors are NOT supposed to be EXTREMELY knowledgeable about everything. If that is a requirement then majority if not all the mentors in the game are not fit to hold the title.

Mentors are supposed to share the knowledge they do have about the aspects of the game they do know.
