The content of this event was a little bland, but the rewards were excellent, so I have a tough time complaining.

I have to agree with you. I found the event boring, but the outfit and emotes are excellent, so I cant real complain about the event. Still I do agree with OP, the event felt short and I wish there was more stuff to do.

Majority of the game is click X on this thing or reading chat bubbles if you're not in a duty 123'ing. MMORPGs need a renaissance. <_<
Been years since using this forum. @_@
As much as people hated the Yokai event, I loved the idea of easy rewards and then a super grindy reward. I wish that would happen with the seasonal events. Like for christmas, have a reindeer mount as a reward but the super grind reward would be a reindeer with a shiny red nose. I just hate being done with an event in 20 minutes.

Thing is, if we follow that suggestion, instead of threads asking for more involvement, we'd be getting threads complaining about how much time it takes. Some folks would just rather get back to their daily grind.
I think the way we get the reward plays a role. If you need to do 500 FATES to get the seasonal reward vs 60 FEAST/Frontlines wins, you will see a difference. There is a reason why the GARO event isnt disliked as the Yokai one. Alot of players find FATES boring, its even worse when RNG comes into play. With the PvP event you can (will lose) matches, but the amount of wins required to get all horses doesnt take as much time as the Yokai event.
What SE needs to do is introduce seasonal events more like the GARO event, but shorter.
