Not sure where this would go but would like some advice on my options. I just started playing and my free period has ended. I set up credit card payment last night and this morning I receive an error email detailing the transaction was unable to be processed.

I tried re-entering all information and received error codes 401, 406 and 601; using 2 different credit cards on 2 separate browsers and attempting to pay for 3 different subscriptions for myself and family members.

I have checked other online forums but they seem to be from years ago all having the same issue. I have contacted SE twice now regarding this and just as the forums were saying, the are blaming the banks. I have no problem using these cards anywhere else, including overseas transactions. The agent with SE recommended I either buy a game time card or use Paypal to purchase Crysta.

Earlier today I went with Paypal and bought the Crysta but now it has a authorization awaiting from SE before it can proceed. I contacted SE and they told me to wait 24 hours and see if it goes through. Or contact my banks or Paypal and ask them what they can do about it. I called Paypal and the rep told me everything is a go and it is awaiting SE to approve the transaction.

Is this a common occurrence with purchasing or renewing subscription with SE? Has anyone else had this issue and how did you resolve it? This is completely irritating, something that should be so simple and straight forward. Never have I come across a company that makes it so difficult for them to take your money.

Any help or advice would be appreciated, all I want to do is get online and enjoy the game.
