Who did play the old PSO episode I,II & IV can remember these kind of weapons ......SE is Turning into SEGA?

Hell yeah! PSO and its successors had some awesome rare weapons. Not only did they look cool, but each one often could do something unique, both in terms of battle and animation. More games need to do that, so it's not just a matter of stat-stacking when people look for weapons; they can actually choose one that has stats that they like, as well as one that appeals to them aesthetically, or one that can be useful in certain situations.

As for SE turning into Sega... let's hope not. Sega's only just recently starting to redeem themselves after all the bad games and decisions they made from around 2006 onwards... Granted, PSO2's Alpha footage looks FUCKING AWESOME so far, and I can't wait to play it.

I have to say at first I laughed when I saw these, then I thought they were awesome for Moogle weapons, and then I was worried other weapons might take this style. I love this style for Moogle weapons, but I would not necessarily like this style for other weapons. Just my thoughts...

Well done SE, love them. for future reference, the bow and lance could use more innovation and creativity. its a weapon with a moogle copy on it. moreso the BOW.
aside from that, awesome work, keep it up!

Edit: I don't know why everyone is so upset about the fact that these weapons look silly. Its a GAME! Its supposed to be fun! I laughed hysterically when I saw the PUG weapon. I like that the dev team has a sense of humor

Well Tinks, since you're relatively new or so I assume by your 7 posts, there was a HUGE uproar about the design of the Ifrit weapons. So this has less QQ and apparently people want the Pug weaps to go PEW PEW, but w/e.

Well, moogle weapons do are meant to be ridiculous...

Pros: Better a ridiculous FF-style weapon than a korean shiny weapon like Ifrit ones were. Also, who never had some feitish for FFXI moogle rod? They're just an improved version of it! And being a non-event item they might have some decent stats!

Cons: If they're better than ifrit weapons i do am expecting some nerdrage here...e-peen with moogle face is like condoms with clown stamp at tip...no one take that seriously. =P

And if they are worse than ifrit weapons, ppl will complain that they will have to stick with ifrit.
