Can we have the option to not count unsync instances with our overall total SE?

I gotta ask. You're so hung up on the comm to instance ratio, but you don't mention the ratios to trials, guildhests, or pvp. You get comms there too. Why is it onlyinstances that matter?

Seriously, comms don't make or break you as a good player so stop telling yourself you're a bad tank for not getting a commendation. If you want to improve yourself, parse damage and damage taken, read guides, and manually adjust. You don't need some arbitrary number in an achievement log to tell you that you're doing well.

I have about 5k instances and around 750 commendations. Does that mean I'm a garbage DPS even though I parsed highest in Savage last night?

Do you happen to leave duties right away? My friend tends to wait a bit because she likes watching the duty complete thing and waits around to talk in case anyone wants to. As said before she is at 1961 with 2710 coms as now. She is willing to talk during the DF too and just has a habit of sticking out. She has not done anything for endgame. (more pointing this out for the next quote)

because to me if i had 2000 instances and only 1000 commendations id feel like I was a bad player thats why I would like to see the real numbers

People made LISTS, one by my self why you SHOULDN'T feel like that. it is a PURE OCD thing or something of that effect (calling it ocd may be wrong but gets the point across what it really is)

People com may be the following but not limited to:
Auto com the tank for holding hate
auto com the healer for no one dying
auto com the AST for spaming AoE balance
lewd glamor
talking
actually being a guide and being a true mentor
give it to a new person for trying
Not being toxic and cooperating with someone when something is pointed out that they did wrong

Plus you are being compared to other players. Lets say you are good but then you are partied with someone like AnaviAnael. You are good but she performed better so she gets the coms. It is not calling you a bad player, just that someone performed better at that specific case.

They are meaningless, arbitrary, and subjective. People are against your suggestion because it does NOTHING to improve the game just because you are hung up on something that does not matter.

I've barely done any content unsync. Like barely anything. I've done a few primals here and there for WT that's it.

The reason I haven't done much unsync? I've been subbed to this game since 1.0 and I've done all content from 1.0 till now when it was new and just added.

So here is commendations and instances run on a character who hasn't done much more than maybe 20-30 instances unsync in total. So unsync is almost not even a factor and even I have way less commendations than instances run.



I also included in the screenshot proof of clearing A12S. I am not perfect or the best player but I am definitely not a "bad" player. For further proof my youtube channel has my static's first A12S clear on video.

So really you need to stop with this mentality. If you want to find out if you play a job well you need to research your job. You can use youtube, you can ask fellow players on your server and maybe one will mentor you at the job to guide you, but commendations? Nope. For the last darn time they are NOT a good indicator of skill.

I mostly run in premades, but by the OP's logic, I'm terrible because low commendations. I don't actually care about how many comms I have, but I do feel the OP needs other examples of why their logic is massively flawed.

Yeah sometimes I leave quickly, but not always; in general I barely pay attention to my own commendations even though I appreciate it when I do get them. Honestly it is likely due to my raiding with a premade. Raids count as instances but I've always had a static that I play with to clear the raid content since launch so no commendations with a premade.

I also often use PF to farm content for glamour/mounts (I had Kirin before HW launched so no unsync and I also have the Firebird from farming the HW Primal Birds too) so again no commendations there either since full premade which is another reason why you can't really use it to judge your own skill level of course.
