Wait - are you saying here that running content unsyched makes you a worse player AND that this being reflected in a tiny stupid little achievment decreases your skill somehow? Thats some strange way of thinking... you dont become a better player by getting more achievments, you become a better player by learning and improving yourself. And if your only incentive for that is that you'll get a shiny title someday, you'll never be a real good player.
What has the dungeon-counter to do with skill?

Why do you not realise that your idea of a 1:1 ratio is - excuse my choice of words here - bullshit and only made up in your mind?
Or explain to me why you think it has to be a 1:1 ratio. Sounds as if you believe you deserve one commendation for each run you do, but you dont. Sometimes you get non, sometimes maybe up to 7.

But it is a bash on unsync. You want to segregate it. Because you don't like it and don't like that people are getting the achievements outside of your arbitrary rules, with unsync.

Oh I get it, they just want to see their true ratio. I wondered about it, but in the end, it is not that important.

I'd advice changing around some wording around if that is all you want, but it shouldn't have anything to do with being a mentor or not.

Even if the unsynced runs didn't count for dungeons, the ratio would still not be accurate. Guildhests, Frontlines, Feast, maybe PotD? do not count as dungeons, but still let you get commendations. You can greatly inflate your ratio just by doing a lot of guildhests a tank. Also there's all the people who played before commendations were implemented.

And as has been mentioned several times synced runs with a premade group will add to instances while not adding commendations.

Start a new character and only do the pure way. Problem solved.
Also commend some dps once in awhile guys. I'm leveling my tank and do a crap job everytime yet I still get two or three comms. Get it together people.

Ha I have three alts, but just no time to play them and I just cant main a dps ques take to long to do basic dungeons

As far as usefulness for the community as a whole is concerned, this isn;t worth the time it would take for the dev team to draw up a flow chart showing how it would work.

I do not think she understands how no meaning?nonexistant meaning? a ratio would be for getting mentor.

Asking to see the ratio apart from unsync is one thing, but asking to effect mentor requirement? so meaningless

This is a non-issue, and as implied, it is some weird compulsive behaviour (may not be the right word but I get the point) in thinking you need to reach 1500 dungeons with 1000 coms at the same time.

1. getting 1500 dungeons does not magically make you an expert.
2. getting 1000 coms does not magically make you an expert.
3. getting mentor status is not really a big achievement, if you think this, then they need way higher requirements.
4. I met a 270 gear all 3 tanks, 270 mch/brd and 262 drg, with 60 job level in EVERYTHING but fishing, and you think a person like this would have some basic understanding on some PvP concepts, but nope, complete dead-weight. I used as much as I could as a SCH and I STILL had to let them die or me, because of the tools SCH lacks, and the thing is they where whm, def could done more to save themselves.

In the end no amount of requirements is going to teach people how to be aware and have a true meaning to a mentor to others.

as for starting new chr and something about dps... you do realize elvel 60 dps, tank and healer is needed? Because of that my friend got it though crafting. She was very slow warm up doing battle content in this game, more so being a DPS.
