Commendations and dungeon runs arent supposed to be a 1:1 ratio - that would only be the case if the game counted the commendations you GIVE not the ones you recive. Where did you get the weird idea that they have to be (or are supposed to be) 1:1?
And why do you care how someone earns those achievments?

And on the matter of commendations, here a little personal touch: I run about 80% of my instances with a friend - hes a freaking badass BLM, I'm a pretty good paladin. He often deserves the commendations more than I do - and yet I think I've got about three times the amount he has? Reminder: We're both at a similar dungeon-counter. Why, you wonder? Because at the end of the dungeon the paladin gets two commendations and the BLM non. The issue here isnt unsyched runs, its how commendations are given away - you cant expect one commendation for one run.

The WAR and PLD tank mounts are from 2.x, using level 60 gear, even synced, you are cheating since your level 60 gear gives you a boost.

About that Shiva pony you have, why did you take that reward? The pony is forever tainted whether you cleared it synced later or not. Lastly, clearing something once and being able to farm it are two very different things.

I wasn't making the subject about this I was just pointing out examples to @Underdog2204 for throwing salt my way just because I chose to tank more than I dps. Nobody can see commendations unless they look at your lodestone so its not exactly about anyone caring.

Im just simply saying that there is no reason to cloud instanced achieved with unsync instances. Because they are two very different things one is the original format of the game and another was added for convenience. A normal instance should count as normal instance one tab, and then an unsync instance should count as a unsync instance another tab. Just like as a gatherer and a crafter to become a mentor for crafting these are the two achievements you must have (I Made That (Worth Collecting) I) and (I Collected That I) these are two separate tabs because they are two different things there is no one tab for both.

So what Im simply asking for is the same thing with instances unsync run tabs, and normal runs, because they are two totally separate things there is no argument that an unsync run is very different than a normal run. So why is this a problem, they are not one in the same so they shouldnt be treated as such is all Im saying not really about how or why I do this or that.

Funny you should say that because if gear mattered you wouldnt have people wiping to proto ultima and Ive seen that twice already but yea sure. Sometimes clearing something once is all you can do, and you know this you are just being smart atm. If it where up to me Id be queing for all of coil normal and savage, all of alex normal and savage, every extreme primal any form of challenge in the game but its not up to me because this is an mmo and once something is old its just old. I veiw content as a whole game and thats my view others do not , so sometimes all you can do is get that one clear and call it a day because people dont run everything in the game like I would no matter how old are new it is. I view quing up for savage just like I do for the level 15 dungeon its all the same to me but Im prob one of the few people with that outlock.

He isnt throwing salt your way because you tank more than you dps - he is pointing out that as tank you'll get more commendations than as dps and that your ratio is more likely to be off because of that already without even considering unsyched runs.
You make a very good point though: Nobody cares about your commendations, good that we figured that out!

There is also no reason to seperate them - and instance is an instance. Seriously, if I wanted to inflate those numbers for whatever reason without using unsyched runs, I could just spam the first guildhets over and over and over again - its done in a minute and yet counts just as much as the 3 minute unsyched Leviathan-kill or the 90 minutes I spend in Dun Scaith (because people are idiots). An instance is still an instance - I dont know why you compare this to an enterily different system and to the difference between crafting and gathering. Why does it matter if you get this achievment for unsyched or sychned runs? You, honey, seem to care waaaay to much about silly little things...
There are NOT to totally seperate things - the dungeon stays the same... and it really, really doesnt matter how one is earning those achievements... but IF you care: you dont have to do unsyched runs - if you despite them so much, just stay out of them. And dont say that you HAVE to do them, because quite frankly you dont.

Also: Do you really believe that you should get a commendation for each dungeon you're doing? Because thats the only conclusion one can draw from your weird idea of a 1:1-ratio...

How am I tryin to brag , I dont have anything to prove to anyone , all I have said is that the features are not the same unsync is one thing and a normal instance is another thing. Just like its two different collectables achievements for gatherers, the instances should be split. I am just a player in a game with other players I never brag or say how good I am or any of that I am still learning plenty in the game. Some people just like to throw salt when some like to state their opinions. I am very aware that my opinion differs from many on the forums as I was one of the only ones defending cash shop on another post. Im not here for likes Im not here for praise I am just tryin to see if any miner things can be put into the game. I just dont want to be punished for helping out my fc members running unsync content that is all nothing more to it.

If people say that mostly tanks and healers get commendations then most of them I should if I die in a dungeon on those very rare moments Id say it was my fault. If I see a healer with all three healers leveled them they should know how to heal on dungeon level if I pop my cool downs and I pull 10 adds there is no way I should be dying even tho it happens (esp with scholars). I expect to have one for every other dungeon at least I know some people dont do them but other than that yes, dps are expendable can take a boss down with three people even if dps is dead. So tank and healers are more important in a dungeon setting well really in most settings. I screw up for sure but in dungeons I have ran multiple times If something happens its usually not my fault but I will take the blame if it is.
