Can we have the option to not count unsync instances with our overall total SE?

well I guess what you guys are saying makes sense then , It was just really bothering me so thats why I made this post but its really nothing that can be done about it. And I actually work on my skills to improve every time I play tryin to get this stupid act to work so I can know how wel Im doing each time.

You need to be self aware. Like I can go wow I carried that run hard *gets no coms* but no one seemed to be appreciative of it and com me. I know i did my best and can't do anything more.

wow i screwed up on that one part by not managing my mp, i could of done better so, so and so didn't die.

I could of done better healing if i knew i had to carry more, ill take what i learned from this and do better next time now that i know the signs.

Yeah sometimes I leave quickly, but not always; in general I barely pay attention to my own commendations even though I appreciate it when I do get them. Honestly it is likely due to my raiding with a premade. Raids count as instances but I've always had a static that I play with to clear the raid content since launch so no commendations with a premade.

I also often use PF to farm content for glamour/mounts (I had Kirin before HW launched so no unsync and I also have the Firebird from farming the HW Primal Birds too) so again no commendations there either since full premade which is another reason why you can't really use it to judge your own skill level of course.

ah , i see, she really does not care for battle things unless there is a friend to be with that is motivating her to do it. VERY RECENTLY, like last month or so she been trying get those mounts etc, relic, just because she wants to do it with her close friend. She is mainly a crafter.

I don't see the issue the OP is suggesting. If commendations are important. Roll a tank or healer and run a few randoms. As a Healer I get 2-3 commendations per 4 man, and 2-6 per trial. If having a 1:1 ratio is their metric for being a good player, then they have quite a ways to go to improve themselves. I manage a 2.5:1 Com to Run ratio and I don't even think I'm that great. (its actually 2:3, but much of that was pre-com content and I run with friends alot).

In reality.. this is a non-issue. Figured I'd pipe in to point out that if they were to do exactly what the OP wanted.. the OP would be surprised to see how 'not good' they are under such a metric. Here's a better metric:

Tank: Good if no one dies from agro.
Healer: Good if no one dies from unavoidable damage.
DPS: Good if no one dies from healer going out of MP.

Simple, and much more telling than commendations. Commendations are just a means of keeping popularity score among strangers. Has little (not quite nothing) to do with how well you are doing. Hell I give commendations to DPS who are new in a dungeon cause they give more tomestones for being there. And I feel like throwing them a bone since DPS are less likely to get them than tanks/healers.

I'm sure I'm not alone in that.
