[Suggestion] Ask to Leave feature for party instances

Basically, another user suggested a way for people to leave instances (dungeons, trials raids, whatever) by asking the party to let them out. Sometimes, real life just likes to sneak up and bash you in the face, and at times like that having an option to leave a dungeon without suffering penalties seems fair for people.

Inserting the quote because I'm too lazy to write another paragraph and to give credit where credit's due.

There should be a "request to leave" option for people. they can click this, have the rest of the party agree and boom, no penalty. That way, someone can be kicked for being a jerk, you are penalized if you just up and leave, but no penalty if you are a team player and actually tell people you are going to leave because of x or y.

I feel like this would be a nice thing to implement. But we would be only going on people's word.

"Hey guys something happened can I go?" Lies. Just wants to leave cuz he got his drop etc etc.

IMO, I don't think we need that option. If you need to leave for RL reasons (and I already did), just take your penalty. I mean, you'll be back later anyways, so taking 30min penalty or not won't change anything.

Yeah, if I really, truly have to leave, I drop and take the penalty. Real life takes precedence and a 30 min penalty is more than fair.

It's already in the game, you can just ask to be kicked. You don't get a penalty from that anyway. You can't be matched with that party if you re-queue but who cares. They probably have a replacement by the time you get back anyway.

If it is something quick like you need 2 minutes to untangle a kitten from some yarn just tell your party and they will probably wait. If its something more serious like your kid dumped the contents of the refrigerator on the floor then just leave and take the penalty since it's gonna take you 30 mins to clean that up anyway.

Most RL things tend to either fall into the 1-5 minutes where the party will wait or kick your or 25-??? minutes where you won't notice your penalty anyway.

Most of all, just communicate with your party. Tell them your cat is on fire and they can decide to wait 3 minutes or kick you.

So you're suggesting you should receive no penalty/punishment for your personal issue, just the party? Don't forget - they still have to wait around for a new member, which can be a while for a tank/healer and even end in a disband.
