What if diadem weapon is 270 or 275....

So let's assume now the ilevel for diadem weapons is actually 270 or 275 like what some of us wish for......




For people who have already cleared Alex and BIS, what is the purpose of diadem for them? Just Minions and mounts? gearing alternate (but then again 280 is better isnt it)? Having fun? or maybe they should just unsub till SB?

I have a relic on WAR, and have cleared A12S.

I would love to gear my 11 other jobs though.

I probably would actually unsub until Alex is farmable after finding out what Diadem rewards ended up being - If I didn't have a house that I have to access every month.

This for me. Before Diadem was closed and before WTs and PotD, used Diadem to farm for tier V materia with just my husband. We alternated drops. Now there's literally no reason for me to step into Diadem other than the minions.

They had no need to be any higher than 270. If anything, they could have added items to make the relic, as well as materia, rare mounts, minions, hell straight up loads of gil.

If there HAD to be a lottery prize, why not make it a RDM or SAM weapon? Doesn't even need to be a high level one. In fact it could literally be Gordian, Ironworks, Dreadwyrm, Primal, even Creator. People are already gearing for the new classes anyway. The allure of having a weapon ready to go would be more than enough tp get people to farm. A 280 weapon is truly only useful in Stormblood right?

I got to 8% on A12S today, but I'll admit that I'd gladly put it on hold for the chance to chase an Ironworks katana. Gotta get my glamour ready
