This would be cute to see! I think if the Lala's were going to hold someone it would probably be over their head. That would be hilarious. Instead of doing it by request I think they should make it so only people in a party together could do it. Kind of like the current "ride pillion".

Maybe for Lalas it can be limited to them just carrying another Lala and getting carried themselves if another race (though I'm one of those that believe Lalas could be strong enough to do it, but suggesting this for the sake of making the emote work because I like the idea of the emote, its cute ). Lalas lifting someone else over their head sounds amazing too though XD Have my Like OP \o/

All this would be fixed if it is locked with just being male able to carry the female and some type of race variation. Male lalas could hold hands and a female lala could be carry on the shoulder or head?

My 'wife' is a femroe. If he can't carry my male Miqo'te around, there's just no point.

This was discussed in a liveletter a long time ago and they did joke about the idea of a lala carrying a Roe too. I could have sworn they said they were working on it but it's been so long that, well, I don't know what's happened to it.

As for harassment, I imagine it'd be a special type of emote where you need to actually confirm to allow it or some kind of restriction like that.

Sorry, I skimmed the post a little once I felt I got the jist of it ^^a I was replying to another poster who felt it might be abused though I imagined something not very unlike the 'Ride Pillion' command might be available or a variety of other plausible methods.
