    Request: Dye-able Accessories

    Hello!

Have you ever had an accessory you liked and wanted to use in a glamour but didn't because the color options were off? Me too!

My request is a simple one. SE, could we please get some dye-able accessories? To my knowledge, we do not have any dye-able accessories at all.

Now I know plenty of accessories come in a wide verity of colors, but sometimes it's just not the shade I want or need. The option to be able to dye the accessories to better compliment my gear would be greatly appreciated.

Here is a list of some of the accessories I wish I could dye but cannot.

    -Ultima Choker.
    -High Allagan Necklace
    -High Allagan Bracelet
    -High Allagan Earrings
    -High Allagan Ring
    -King Moogle Mog XII Ribbon
    -Gryphonskin/Patriot's Choker
    -Redbill Scarf
    -Baron Earrings
    -Peach Blossom Earrings
    -Pumpkin Earrings
    -Dragonskin Wristbands
    -Militia Bracelets
    -Weathered Wristlets
    -Hallowed Chestnut Ring
    -Meteor Survivor Ring
    -Dragonskin Ring
    -Ironworks Earrings of Crafting/Gathering
    -Ironworks Choker of Crafting/Gathering
    -Ironworks Armillae of Crafting/Gathering
    -Ironworks Ring of Crafting/Gathering

As much as I would like for those to become dye-able, I would just like to see some dye-able accessories added at all. As it currently stands, this game has none.

Please show your support if you would also like some dye-enabled accessories to be added!

Aye, this is a BIG topic for me

I also would like to see accessories dye-able: My current character is a cosplay of Kidakagash Nedakh [aka Kida from Atlantis: The Lost Empire - Disney]. I created her from a forum suggestion and have played her to post-EW, specifically to get the Wayfarer's Attire from Tataru.

This was done specifically to get the closest item in-game to the crystal necklaces the Atlanteans wear - The Wayfarer's Necklace. But when I finally got it and put it on, I was a little let down - it didn't glow!

This is where I'd love to see accessories become dye-able. But not only that, I'd like to see accessories of a crystal-based structure have a native glow. I mean, all the crystals you see in the world - native, raw crystals - have a glow to them! I'd like to think that the glow is innate to the aetherical structure of the crystal and can be carried through to wearable jewelry. Such seems to be the ability of some glams in armor that I've seen in the game so far - why not the accessories as well!

So, yeah, this is a 'yea' vote for this thread

PS: If you're curious as to my current look, correct in-game name is spelled /Kidakagash' Nedakh/ on Ultros server [don't forget the apostrophe]

Devs don't tend to look at random topics with only a few posts.
There is somebody paying attention to the master glam item request post...

    Maybe merge this with that?

    agreed.

the scarf you get from doing the sky pirates quests/dun scaith raids would've been so cool if it were dyable. ): so would the namazu bell.

That thread about "what feature would you love to add to the game with no thought to restrictions or plausibility" - yeah this is my answer. Especially as someone who crafts and collects the various flower pot accessories for earrings, necklaces, and especially hair corsages and still frustrated laments the limited color palette options and amount of glamour dresser slots needs. The amount of glamour-focused level one accessories in this game are surprisingly few and dominated by jokey mascot/minion themed items (which I've learned to love the earrings of the namazu, spriggan, and others. Because I had to). The dyeable flower piece from the Little Ladies Day event a few years ago was a delightful surprise.
But going on a decade now I have to wonder if there's a technical limitation to why none of the righthand gear -minus off-hand tool/shield- is ever dyeable.

Either give more options in general, a few dyeble ones, or some way to buy level one, non-role-restricted purely for glamour versions of the various 61+ jewelry models that we have in game.

That, along with the addition that it doesn't require job or class for it to be used when in the Glamour Dresser. if I can Dye any necklace, at that point I'd rather not have to have duplicates cause I can die one any color. or have my design choices be limited cause of class when I can Dye them anything at that point.

I can understand that, but people still do that unfortunately. even with weapons.

if anything, since they added toggles ro AF EW gear, they could just add a Stat toggle, so glamour wise it works on all of the gear, but thr actual stats only work for a role/job.

also a trade in, incase they mess up, and get the wrong item.<only before it is used, can't have the whole wear for a day and return, but I guess that's what Binding is for>
