Anyone else thinks Proto Ultima is fine?

If Slipslix acknowledges we've been to Dun Scath that means we've already beaten scathatch and Diablos but when we return there and see Proto Ultima Weapon it's because he's detected either of the two void sent monsters presumably, when we're there in Dun Scath though it's like we are there for the first time but the quest dialogue implies we've already been there.

Really gets that noggin joggin.
What's the deep lore behind this?

Here we go, MMO gameplay logic + lore logic attempted explanation:

The fact that proto ultima is able to get into the void in the first place tells us something about his abilities. Perhaps he is able to travel between multiverses. If each instance of the fight is a multiverse, a different WoL in the same scenario, then we have one singular event that acts as a divide, that being pre-PUltima entering dun scaith, and post-PUltima entering dun scaith. This means that Slipslix is correct that PUltima has entered Dun Scaith, however what WE see is PUltima being beaten by another WoL who encounters PUltima on their first time entering Dun Scaith.

Or, the devs wanted to add proto ultima and the only way they could do that is by adding it to dun scaith (because queue times), and the above is BS

That the devs introduced Proto Ultima a patch too late because reasons.

It had some potential but it is not scaled for people in 260-270 gear. I seen some of the extra aoes the mini things can do on day 1 and it can be a hard fight. It is just not scaled well and could use a lot more hp, like triple it so it is a 3 min fight while being a bit more complex with aoes

Of course it's not scaled for people in 260-270 gear, Dun Scaith is only minimum ilvl 235.

I swear, players complain about how easy everything is but most of it is just because they are overgeared.

So that is why I am able to carry full alliances at times, that stuff should be killing people, good to know.

Oh am sure, in a group of 24 people you are the only one able to do anything... You an expert on how other classes play at lvl 60 to be able to judge how good or bad someone is doing?

Judging from your profile you seem to avoid content that is actually more tuned to higher end gear... So what do you expect exactly? Should really be grateful they put him in DS so you get to fight him rather than a trial judging by that...

A bit off topic don't you think? I have carried dun runs before, some unsuccessfully that led to vote abandon since I have limits. I remember this one run we past the first boss purely due to me, raising the other healers constantly along with cross healing and killed it split seconds before the dps check of wiping to it. The next one I saw the wrong orb color somehow.. I ran to the wrong maw and died, 15 seconds later the whole alliance wiped, if that does not show you who was carrying the first boss, I do not know what will.

There was also the time I successfully pulled off being solo healer on that hardest boss there, the one that tends to be the alliance killer, the one before Diablos. ofc I did little cross healing for that, maybe a swifcast raise on another healer, I stuck to my party, so it inst like i solo healed the full alliance, but solo healing my party on that made me proud. I am not sure if people here find that major or not, but.. I was not trying to sound arrogant or anything. But since you seem to want to call me out on how I feel I did more then my fare share of healing on dun runs, well then there ya go.

In the end, asking for a longer then 1 minute fight should not be a shocking request.

Actualy i would want a full armor set from proto ultima. thr chest piece is pretty cool i would gladly see the rest of the armor that match that piece

You get 2 270 upgrades for the price of one. I'm good with it. It'll help level alts without having to waste shillings pennies and farthing.

Im just really at this point shocked people are wiping to him so far Ive had two groups to wipe to him and Im left speechless considering how quickly he dies
