Please make Top 30 Feast mount obtainable through other means.

Not my idea but it would be good to make LP like a time based event. Give a specific time window in which queuing for 4vs4 (group) is available. That way wintraders cannot queue at ridiculous times like 5am in the morning and cheat their way up while no other party is patrolling. It would also make LP very active since everyone would be queuing at the same times. You could shift the times each day/week, so shift workers couldn't complain.

I would be pretty pissed, if my top30 mount - which I earned legit - would lose its exclusivity. People who placed top10 got screwed already because the minions are obtainable for everyone by getting 300 kills and 500 assists in The Feast (4vs4 and 8vs8). If the mount becomes obtainable for everyone then I hope it's like 5000 wins in The Feast (ranked) and see if those who cry are willing to take the grind.

Even though I can't do it because my FC buddies are mean, I'd hate to see LP lose its rewards. But I also hate to see it turned into the wintrading cheatfest of choice. The community has come up with plenty of ways to identify cheats and I think a call has to be made to actually moderate The Feast properly if it's going to give out exclusive prizes. Letting the community police itself isn't how competitions on the forums are run, and it shouldn't be how the in-game competitions are run either.

The time thing might be awkward, especially for Japanese datacentres; prime time is fairly rigid there since there isn't much variety in the hours players tend to be available, compared to NA/EU servers where multiple timezones are involved.

Making LP time limited sounds great on the surface but unfortunately there are plenty people who play on Datacentres way outside their time zones. Maybe what is needed is that LP is, ironically, limited to 2 players per party with the other two randomly selected. It's awful that this is what it has come to but people cheating have ruined ranked PVP for everyone else who doesn't cheat.

I do feel it's a little weird that LP doesn't enforce fixed teams at all. I came from WoW originally and back when I played we had to play together as a fixed team we made in advance, which does mitigate some of the potential shenanigans (while introducing others). It's frustrating because there are so many potential ways to stamp out most of the cheating, and most of them have been known since The Fold was regularly played yet they still haven't been addressed.

No, keep ranked reward to ranked rewards only, we don't need more pegi3 people complaining because they weren't able to get a team (OP's case, maybe if he was a nicer, less aggressive person to talk to people would want to play with him so he could get top 30) We got people new to pvp who reached top 30 (and top 100 in soloq, you have no idea) without any form of cheating just fine. That being said it is true there has been some pretty extreme cases of cheating / wintrading / abusing the system, while we don't see much of it on chaos in general, we have 1 confirmed wintrader and 2 players who deliberately abused the system to get rating easily in top 30 this season (something for SE to fix)

WHAT WE DO NEED, however, is for SE to drop their "we know all, you know nothing" god complex crap, start banning the people who cheat and are getting reported with solid proof, on both chaos and aether we have people who don't follow the rules, got reported by several, goes unpunished because SE GMs are a little incompetent (compared to pvp GMs in other mmorpgs) if other games' GMs can catch cheaters in less than a day then why can't you, wasn't the main reason to run the game server side to easily prevent cheating, or was I misinformed

I'd love it if the mount were eventually available and tied to # of wins like the minions are. That way those that ranked in the top 100 can have their exclusivity for a bit but then give others a chance as well.
