My experience has been much better apparently. Almost every DF group has gone without a hitch and people are usually quite friendly. Sometimes I get a bad apple in the group, but it's astonishingly rare compared to every other MMO I've played. I really love tanking in FFXIV and people seem to appreciate my effort. To be fair though, about half the time, I'm joining DF with a friend or two so they can get that instant que with me. I'll take playing with friends over 'in need' bonus any day.
