Dev Request - Jump Potion

Since we are getting the option to buy levels I would like to request we also get the option to purchase gear from the mogstation. I figure the jump potion likely already will provide gear up to a certain item level but even if it does I'd like to request we be able to purchase gear sets of higher item level as well. Or perhaps have different tiers of jump potions with more expensive ones coming with better gear. Thanks in advance SE and great work!

Oh I am happy with the levels, but the point of this request is gear would make me all the happier.

Wait I thought the jump potion already includes advancement of job quests and supplies some gear.
Or did gear come with the story jump pot?

I think one of them does come with gear but I'm not entirely sure. I'm just requesting more gear options if it does.

Why would you want to pay for gear that is ten levels beyond the current max level? I mean I wouldn't pay money for an ironworks set. That would be dumb. You would replace it all by the time your lvl 55.

On a serious note, the Jump potions won't jump you to max lvl. They will only take you up to the end of the last expansion. So if you took one today you would get boosted to lvl 50. If you took one in SB it would boost you to level 60. Regardless, you still need to go through the last ten levels by playing even if you took the Jump potion. So yes you probably get a gear set but it will be obsolete gear to most people. I imagine in Stormblood it will probably be the equivalent of the Eikon set.

This would make no sense.. older tomestone gear is very easy to get. For the current sets (at any moment) the available grinding paths are quite limited and casual-oriented, so they should be easy to get. The only thing I could see having some value as a mog-station option -if no further grinding paths are implemented- would be the latest savage raid tokens (for example manifesto pages) and the latest tomestone upgrade items (for example gobtwines, gobdips, gobcoats) -and perhaps they would need to limit this to 1 set per character to avoid an in-game imbalance.
