    I expected absolutely nothing and was still disappointed with Ultima.

    After Sophia and Zurvan I wholeheartedly expected the proto-ultima fight to be awful and didn't think it would be possible to be disappointed going into it with that mindset. I just did a 24 premade, pick up a quest, queue dun scaith, Proto-ulty replaces the succubus trash mob. We killed it in about 1 minute 16 seconds with almost no mechanics. It's just a replaced trash mob in what was already unfun weekly grind content. It's not even its own instance as a primal. GG square enix

    Maybe it's not the only instance where Proto-Ultima can show up. It could be "interesting" to have it as a random spawn throughout any 24-man content.

    The goblin specifically tells the player to go to Dun Scaith. So no, it's not going to appear anywhere else.

    Also, it's the 24 men raid. We're at the point that things melt. Did anyone expect it to be hard..pfft.

    I thought it was a neat little fight, and something different from the norm...

    But after it was hyped up as a "24-Man Trial", it's pretty disappointing to see that it's actually just a replacement trash-fight and nothing more.
    Lots of people have been pointing out recently that much of the disappointment with the game comes from things being hyped up before their development is fully complete, leading to misaimed expectations.

    And well... case in point. Blame it on what? False advertising? Translation error? Misguided hype?
