    So I missed last year's Little Ladies Day but wasn't the event supposed to be about a noble family or something and that for a day young girls were all treated like royalty by a male handpicked to be chosen as the Seneschal? Since when did it turn into a pop idol event?

    Happened in 2016. You helped promote the Songbirds girl group in Ul'dah and then voted for which one would become the leader of the band.
    The npcs came back during the 2016 Starlight Celebration to promote the event in each city and would wave to you if you had completed their Little Ladies' day event.

    Wow, I don't remember the songbirds at all from Starlight 2016. All I remember is daily trips to the infirmary for that kid who couldn't see his dad. Shame on me for not waving at them
