LMAO, thats only too funny, because I would bet there are many saying this same thing..

Anyway, OP should of made a video of it and not just a still shot, toss in some fun christmas music and make it a party.

If a person is not wearing the right gear and or materia they have already demonstrated that they are not competent enough or invested enough to be brought along. Just because you can be carried doesn't mean you should be.

Let's apply this logic to real life; Do some work(gearing yourself) before expecting your paycheck(ifrit loot).

Since you probably still don't get it those 8 players consented to doing it where as it's rude to expect 7 other people you don't know(online doesn't count) to carry your under geared butt through the ifrit fight. they all did their part you should too, no excuse.

Ifrit is mostly fire damage, so, it should go without saying that, unless you have gear with fire resistance, you will not see any difference in how much damage you take.

The tank only really loses some health, and probably takes a bit more damage when Ifrit actually melees... which also happens to be the easiest part to heal.

I assume the kill was only slightly slower than normal as well? Everyone still has their normal weapons equipped most likely which forms the bulk of their damage.

I don't really understand how this is really unexpected...
