Yeah I agree they overcharge for the emotes. I still bought it though just for my main character. I see no use for the backflip emote personally so I didn't get that one. Still the /playdead emote is a little misleading. It uses a different animation and pose than the actual death pose. I'm a little annoyed but glad too. The female Miqo'te pose they curl up on their side face obscured so I guess that means somebody can't do lewd emotes to my character. Then again they'll probably try to do so anyway if I were to allow it.

No they did overcharge. Whether I paid for it or not isn't the deal here. 7 bucks for an emote attached to one character is too much. That's why I didn't buy the other emote and just one of them.

You say it's too much, but SE did know what they were doing when they priced it. They charged what they did because people will buy it. They're making bank and there is no sign on their end that they set the price too high so they'll likely continue down this path in the future, and unfortunately for us players, those that really wanted the emote are forced to buy it if they still want it at this point because the players have spoken; there will never be another way to get this emote, and this is now the more likely scenario for introducing the next heavily-requested emote (or other vanity item) into the game. I think that's what was being said there.

I was hoping you could /changepose between the animations we see and the actual death pose animations, but apparently, $7 isn't worth that...
