Kite Shield VS Vintage Kite Shield

Getting ready to gear my glad. Took a quick look at the shields and didn't see much a difference between the two.

So I'm curious is there any real difference besides the price?

not really no. get whichever you'd like

Hello Chief ^^. No there isn't much of a difference...at all, haha...but there is a difference especially if you care about maxing-out your character's stats. This is a MMO afterall :P. The Vintage Kite Shield is better by one DEF and one Wield Rate, however, since it is made by a unique item it may cost more in your market wards.

-Kite Shield (Optimal Level: 48): Def 119 & Wield Rate 91
-Vintage Kite Shield (Optimal Level 50): Defense 120 & Wield Rate (92)

The item is scarred kite shield. Can get them pretty easy from lvl 40 leves in gridania, it drops from chests and the occasional leve reward. I got 2 of them last night, they are less then 100k in the markets on lindblum.

you dont need a shield since glad cant block anymore
