Here's a list of all the patches and their dates. You'll find they are all pretty much within 3 months, sans 1.0.
If you follow that same link and look at Duties (aka dungeons), you'll see you get more than two.

Maybe they are unhappy SE charges for inventory, market board slots, and is unable to provide housing. They also cut dungeons from 3 to 2. Count months between patches as three when they are all closer to 16 weeks.

3.1 to 3.2 count the Tuesdays 16, 3.2 to 3.3 15 Tuesdays, 3.4 to 3.5 16 Tuesdays. That is why I said weeks you can be 3 months on a Calendar and still be close 16 weeks. Now i am not sure why you said duties when I said dungeon. I believe it was 3.1 they went from 3 max dungeons to 2. You aren't counting stuff like trials are you? They even admited that we would get one less per patch. So they could work on other stuff diadem /yuck.Here's a list of all the patches and their dates. The ride never ends.

Mogstation money goes to SE. SE invests that money in all the things they do. FFXIV is one of the things that they do. Therefore, some of the Mogstation money gets put back into the game - but don't expect it all to go there, or even most of it.
Mogstation purchases should only be thought of as "supporting FFXIV" in the vaguest of sense. Those purchases support SE, and SE is the company that runs FFXIV. They want FFXIV to be successful, and to continue to be successful for many years to come. So some of their resources are going to be channeled into the game. But SE also wants to create NEW games, so some of their resources will be channeled into those, as well.
SE has not promised that all Mogstation profits will be directly used on FFXIV, and they are under no obligation to make any such promise (in fact, it would be very foolish of them to make such a promise).
If they really want to make some money they should put that Fenrir motorcycle mount they made in mogstation, now that's something I'd buy lol

pretty sure its already in the game files but because of the current mount speed it would just seem silly cause you are ON a Motorcycle but you are going soooo slow you can see them laughing at it here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2WA8Q9PZiSY
PS3 Limitations are out, Server Limitations are the new Hotness

Rather than the cash shop, they should make it a bonus for buying the FF7 remake when it comes out. Though it would be fine if they then released it in the mogstation six months or a year later so people could regret not buying it when it came free with a game rather than by itself for the same price as a new PS4 game (because if they priced it less than $60 as a stand alone item I'd be shocked).

Considering SB budget was 3X the amount compared to HW. I think some of the mog station revenue went in SB
