Ishgard Housing delayed till after 4.0. Is Ishgard's old climate returning?

“All of our resources are focusing on Shirogane right now.” said Yoshida when asked about whether or not players should ever expect residential housing in Ishgard. However he continued: “But that being said, after we have established Shirogane’s housing wards, we feel that possibility wise, rather than Ala Mihgo, maybe Ishgard might be a higher consideration point. We’re hoping by then Ishgard won’t be as frigid and cold.”

Kind of misleading title as they said consideration point, not a definite. Sounds like they're planning on doing away with the cold too, which I think is one of the reasons they decided against Ishgard for the time being. Outdoor furniture that's bright and not covered in snow would stand out a bit on the icy ground. Unfortunately I think a lot of the appeal to the housing in Ishgard for people was having that snow covered house, so if it does end up being a future housing area it will be interesting to see how people take it thawed out. I was personally hoping for Ala Mihgo jungle housing or something in that swampy dark foggy forest when they showed some of the shots of the area and started veering away from mentioning Ishgard as the next possible housing area.
