You also have no way of knowing what would or would not have been added to the game without the cash shop, so arguing that point is rather silly.

Someone else already said it this way, but I'll reiterate: The more items get shunted to the cash shop, the less our actual sub is worth. I do not want to see my subscription devalued, as at some point it will be low enough that I will see no further point in maintaining it.
