The way to actually communicate this to SE is to not buy their products.

Thing is, what are you communicating though? Nothing at all. People are still tripping over each other to buy it, and that's what's getting communicated, not the odd person or two over in the corner who are 'speaking with their wallet.' That's the thing that's frustrating.
