Frankly, the way Yoshi P seems to tell it yes. He doesn't even have final say on what gets made for the Mog station. Anything that goes on there which isn't event gear is made factoring in the money it will earn through sales or it wouldn't be made. The reason we haven't seen a Krile outfit yet is because the person who makes the decisions isn't sure it will be a good return on investment due to the cost it would make to produce to fit every character model.

Our sub pays for a lot. We get a lot of new models, glamours, emotes, haircuts and furnishings with our sub in addition to the content we get. To make anything in addition to that requires the cost be justified with the additional revenue it will make.

Given the Fact, let me remind you all that Square Enix seems to have literally taken the Death Animation or did some light modifications on the Animation itself and thats it.

Using existing Assets from the normal Gameplay and turn them into Emotes plus selling them for that amount of Money seems to be a nice thing, lol!

The way to actually communicate this to SE is to not buy their products. Players that complain but also buy are effectively nullifying their complaint. As long as they can get people to say, "I don't like it, but I'm still going to buy it," all they hear is "I'm going to buy it." They've got no reason to stop the behavior at this point.

I'm guilty of buying the Lightning costume and her gun blade rest of the cash shop mounts on my lodestone were just gifts.

I think the issue here is an assumption that all the mog station stuff would have been made and put into the game anyway if the cash shop didn't exist. I suspect in many cases that isn't true. If the Cash shop didn't exist then its not like we would just get all this in the game. It probably means we wouldn't get it at all. The amount they invest in this game will be in proportion to how profitable it is. Things like a Cash shop allow SE to make more revenue without raising the sub and this allows things like the server upgrades we are getting to be justified financially.

A better question do we get value for our sub. If the answer is yes then that should be fine.
