well what exactly is mog station suppose to sale then only old stuff I mean come on its a freaking emote we have a billion of them I cant believe this is even a thread if it cost to much for you dont buy it I know I want be thats because emotes are not that important. That's a weird comparison. Everyone knows you are paying for a ticket to view a film at a movie theater, not eat candy or popcorn. Consider this instead: Would you be upset if you had to pay an entrance fee to get inside an amusement park, plus an extra dollar for every ride? Or how about a zoo? 1 extra dollar for every exclusive animal you want to see. We already paid the entrance fee. What the Mog Station is doing with these new unique emotes is essentially the same idea.

It may be just a freaking emote to you but every time there is an exclusive item added to the mog station, potential content is being wasted and not utilized. This could of been a reward for an amusing, fun quest. Or a casual drop from something in game. Something. Anything, that livens up the game and encourages more people to play whatever content it could have came from.

No, but that doesn't matter. You're still paying whenever you go to them and if you want anything extra you have to pay for it. If you want, we can pretend that you'd be going to the theater or restaurant at least once a month.
It's having a gym membership and thinking that entitles you to free items from the gym's hobby shop. Your membership lets you use the equipment, if you want largely unnecessary add-ons like bags and shirts, you should expect to pay for it.This more like paying for a gym membership and then them trying to charge you more to get access to exclusive equipment.
The comparison is fine, and in this case the problem is people not understanding what their subscription fee actually gets them.
No it isn't? It's not even close to the same idea. You can still play FFXIV without paying for any additional services. If it were like your example, you would be charged individually for every single piece of content you did, every time you did it.Consider this instead: Would you be upset if[...] What the Mog Station is doing with these new unique emotes or is essentially the same idea.
Most CS items are permanent for as long as you keep your account. Snacks last you for as long as it takes you to consume them. I personally see far more value in the price of anything I'd want off of the store.
With this character's death, the thread of prophecy remains intact.

So, uh...can I take my mog station items home with me, like, outside the actual game? Can I at least take them with me when I switch over to LoL, like I could if I bought a shirt in said hobby shop and went to a different game/gym/whatever?
(Real life products don't compare all too well to digital ones)

When they add a wing into their cinema to have more rooms, we dont pay it, they expanse it bye themself, yet in FFXIV we pay expansion...

Il est possible de dépassé la limite des 1ooo caractères, il suffit d'éditer son post ~

The movie comparison isn't really apt either because the value inflation of the candy is a better deal than Mog Shop, it's $30 for a digital item that has no production cost (it did have development cost of course). If Soda cost $90 it might be a better comparison lol.
SE is a business but whenever I see exclusive stuff in the Mogshop I just think "thanks mobile gaming" xD. I was so happy with my occasional pre-order, one expansion a year, or a DLC that meant something. Now it's would you like to pay $50 for Yuna's bikini? It's on sale too! If you pay $20 more you can use it in the VR room!1!!!
Although I get MMOs are expensive I still feel SE could be more considerate how they run the shop, at minimum please consider applying bonus crysta to subscriptions as seen in some other MMOs as part of their Vet system (if refusing to stop adding in exclusives at least).

No, the sub fee isn't enough, otherwise you wouldn't be seeing an... emote... for half the cost of said sub fee.
Don't worry though, no amount of complaining will change it, anything that is more creative or requires even a slight bit of effort to make over the gear we get now, or has been requested a bunch will be on the shop soon. And might as well add in anything that's been told numerous times isn't possible or that they don't want to add for... reasons, too.
It doesn't matter if it even has a place suitable to unlock it via in-game means either, why add incentives to do associated content if the masses have asked for it so much that the lucrative potential is so tantalizing that they can't resist adding it to the shop? They can get away with it afterall, and can bloat the prices (Fan Fest costing more, Eastern clothing, emotes getting higher etc).
I ain't even mad, I have enough restraint not to give money where it isn't deserved... I am just disappointed at this stage. Oh well, on with thing I suppose. *two cents given*

Well, all this is why I don't buy anything from the mogstation, no matter how much I want it. I was cautiously okay with the concept at first, and I could even have made my peace with some things being mogstation only, rather than in-game first, but the prices are absolutely ludicrous, even for the account-wide items, and just flatly inexcusable for those items which are single-character or consumable.
Like, the cherry trees for $5 might be reasonable if that purchase unlocked them at the calamity salvager for you to buy as many as you liked, or even if it was a pack of five or six of them for that price, but for a single semi-consumable item? Are they insane?

To answer the OP question. Apparently our sub fee is not enough.
Including those like myself who pay for additional retainers is also not enough.

I'm sorry, what does my Savage progress have to do with the topic at hand? You'd better find some support for your straw man before he blows over.seems like ppl want stuff that added to the mogstation are the one also not doin the content.

Whether or not the items are physically tangible or transferable is irrelevant. So, uh...can I take my mog station items home with me, like, outside the actual game? Can I at least take them with me when I switch over to LoL, like I could if I bought a shirt in said hobby shop and went to a different game/gym/whatever?
