Is our sub fee not enought

You guys are overreacting look at any list of top grossing mmos and this game will not be on it , like having a sub base actually turns players off and not everyone likes ff genre. But those of us whom do shouldnt be complaining when this game wants to make an extra buck , it supports the game this game isnt drowning in money so every little bit helps stop complaining if you dont want the items dont buy them.

Those lists include DotA2 and League of Legends. A Final Fantasy MOBA would be cool, but it wouldn't be an MMO and I have no idea why so many sites are so keen on conflating the two.

Why do you think that? I don't recall reading anything negative about FFXIV's money making abilities since it was re-released. Just the opposite actually.

Then shouldn't they add incentives for new players to join the game, and current subscribers to keep playing, rather than just adding new stuff for additional fees? If my choice is between two games, and I like both games equally, why would I pick the one that has three (Game, Sub, Cash-Shop) prince-sinks for content as opposed to the other, which has two (Game, Sub) for new content?

But there is a major difference other games sale in game gear, sale things that actually matter in the actual game, a mount , an emote dont matter. We have a billion emotes , are we really complaining that they are selling someone in the mog station just because we didnt get that one emote when we have like 40 of them come on.

They arent selling script gear, are anything of significance so why does it matter, this game can have both and it should have both cash sop and sub, because at the end of the day you get everything that matters from paying a sub. Everything in the mog station is just extra and those whom have the money can get it just like any other service, thats like saying if I pay a gym fee I should get free drinks , free tanning , free everything just because I pay my membership nothing works like that. Alot of things you pay an up front cost and everything else has an additional fee I dont see the problem here.

I wonder if the people always fussing about the CS also loudly complain at at movie theater when they're asked to pay for snacks in addition to their ticket. Or at a restaurant when they're asked to pay extra for appetizers.

Old stuff into the mogshop doesn't really bother me, even when I miss stuff, to me it encourages (doesn't guarantee) that they'll make decent rewards each event and also makes it so people feel it is more valuable because it literally is (you know there will be a monetary value to your free item). Reskins are less annoying but pretty silly imo.

I loathe exclusive stuff though.. SE please xD. Perhaps if they added something like EQ had with the whole you get cash shop money from your sub, so you can get - everything - without getting out of your sub unless you wanted every random item and you kept missing events. They discussed changing the veteran system, maybe we'll go to that?

It cost as much as a month for me, but it'll be fun to use, so I don't really care. I rarely purchase optional items other than fantasias anyway.

The price in the cash shop for just about everything is absurd. I've never used it, and never will until I see more reasonable pricing. Having items in there never available in-game is an insult to those who spend their time playing everyday. Presenting it as if it's part of the gameplay patch is also highly questionable.
