However - your team CAN see you, I'd just spam stopping melee or something in this scenario.

The only problem with your idea - not that it's a bad one - is that spamming that command could get you reported :/

There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that the timing of this no-chat implementation was not coincidence. Right before a massive PVP event with huge PVE carrots dangling from it, right before Season 4 and a new Feast map, and right around the time of Fanfest/major SB announcements so these changes don't get the attention they should...yeah.

The sad thing is though, I know too many people on Levi who just love to PVP with and against each other to just quit outright, even though they think the ban is moronic on every level. It's hard to organize a mass boycott on any sort of level, really, no matter how many people dislike the chat ban.

To me, quitting the Feast, no matter how stupid this chat ban is, would pretty much be equivalent to just quitting the game. I don't have a group serious enough to slam into Savage every week, and I've done everything else but that. The only thing that keeps me interested, is blowing up people in PvP. And the Feast, regardless of how completely unacceptable this change was, is still more enjoyable to me than Frontline. I LOVE arena PvP. Absolutely adore it. The thrill of facing down an enemy team, with the only objective being killing each other over and over again. None of this node based garbage, that is Shatter. Because, Seal Rock isn't popping right now, even though it's ten times more fun, because ACTUAL PVP happens in it.
