I'm sorry, I really am, but I don't get the big deal of $7. I mean sure the Odin one was high but that was more the statue.

This was in the datamine, we knew it was coming, its not needed to beat the game or anything, and again its just $7. What is with the anger? I honestly don't get what the big deal is, kindly explain what is wrong here.

Previously emotes were $2 (Bomb Dance) or ported over from another version of the game (Bow). These are the first Mogstation exclusive emotes and they are more expensive than housing or glamour items. Another factor is Playing Dead/Lying Down has been a frequently requested emote and was originally turned down because it could be obscene. Now it's being sold to use for a bloated price. I have generally been okay with the cash shop, but this one does feel like a blatant cash grab.

Actually /Play dead might be in the mogstation as a limiter because of how obscene it could be. Someone who spends the equivalent of $7 on the emote is far less likely to abuse it that any random person who got the emote for free.

/Backflip is likely there because they expect a fairly good return on investment considering how much work it required to develop.

I think this one is kind of justify because it used to be a China FFXIV exclusive along with the Monkey King set. Since they have to pay for it in the first place, it's only right that we should as well. Then there's the issue of why it wasn't in-game for them in the first place, because their payment system is different from ours and it's closer to a F2P MMO than our version. Oh you'd be surprised...

While there will be uses of the emote for ERP purposes. Abuses (such as a 40 character nude Lala orgy) will be far less common than if everyone had it.

hmmm backflip is already in the game it's monks battle stance. Even if it is slightly different it wouldn't of been much of a change.

Dragoons already get a backflip with /vpose too
