Haven't read the whole thread. All I can say is maybe wait for the Winter sale and hope it gets a discount. I myself don't buy emotes, so it doesn't bother me, but for those who do, Winter sale is your only hope.

that is all.
I happened to see this thread browsing the forums...
I feel... dissapointed.
I don't like the male Lalafell version of playing dead.
We are Eorzea's chosen people, after all. We deserve something more dignified.

I am in agreement 100%. Sadly there is almost no chance this will ever be changed, something that irks me to no end cause I was excited to get a play dead emote only to get this abomination of an emote instead.

Lalafell male emote reminds of Johnny from the Metal Gear Solid game on Playstation
Must be a Japanese thing because even in anime mostly comedy people are in this pose when defeated or knocked out.

I'm ok with the mogststion because I understand that this is a business and the things we are asking for cost money. They need to pay their people and if we want more than what they can give us via their subscription, then we need to pay up. The alternative is to come up with a third tier of subscriptions which would include all new items but it would be way up there in costs.
We've no real proof that they can't afford to provide things for our subscription alone. Heck, we knew for a while that most of FFXIV's money was getting funneled to other games. There's no need for you to treat SE like a charity with your dollars.
