Them using it for GC seals or desynthesis or glamour is just as valid and "necessary" as you using it for stats. In fact, it's often more "necessary" for someone using it for purposes other than stats because any dungeon gear used for stats is going to be replaced soon.
100% This. Too many people are stuck in the item level box of Need. The crate is bigger than that.

Nothing is under-geared if you can get in.

I frequently queue on my i260 tank instead of i270 healer, my i250 SMN regularly kills stuff faster than i260+ DPS that don't know how to play their jobs properly too. should i stop?

Are you aware that you're making fun of "statistics" while playing a MMORPG which mostly relies on them for... well... almost everything? Heck, our whole society relies on maths and statistics to even work.

Besides, aside from making a completly absurd comparison, you haven't said why his approach would be wrong, making your post irrelevant. Good job at proving nothing.

Why ? Im using NEED when i want that gear of GC seals / desynth / glamour. It happened to me once , when someone told me that she want that piece of gear which i didnt need. But whatever im using my crafting skills to get gear. So if i can do that why not you ? Like running a 55lvl dungeon some week later having a healer with 110ilvl weapon and response why she have this was "i wasnt lucky to get better " which made me furious ... so try MB or ask in your FC to craft some gear or farm tomes or items to exchange better gear. Not asking to make this thing.

Check the recent threads about that, the ones asking for stricter criteria etc, as well as those justifying vote-kicks for this exact reason.

    Anyone mentioned statistics?

The probability of getting an item after rolling Need in a light party after lv50, with any possible party composition and a 50% chance to roll more than the other dps if it comes to that:

The "Need" option is designed to cater to specific roles/jobs.
So much for the "fairness" of resorting to RNG.

It must be really upsetting for you. Here you are, paying your $15 dollars a month and some scrub comes along and steals something from you.
Seriously, please do us all a favor and climb out of yourself.
    Other people play the game.
We aren't all out to get you or ruin your life.
    we all pay.
    we all play.
desipite what you've been told you whole life YOU ARE NOT THE MOST IMPORTANT PERSON. The other people in the dungeon are not there to make your life easier. Poor you. Run the dungeon again.

Why does this apply only if you need an item for an upgrade vs seals/desynth/glam and not the other way round?

Before deciding whether the others in a dungeon are there to make your life easier why don't you try to to make their life easier?

Since when is 250 and probably wearing casting acessories as a caster undergeared for anything?

Stop wearing casting acessories, swtich then to healing onces and then remove yor weapon and use a ilvl 145 one. Dw you'll still be able to get into all the dungeons available. Then you may get a better idea of what we are talking about, all you are doing is going "oh my lowest geared job is undergeared coz it's not as high as my other ones" which is a rediculous way of thinking.

This is actually is a legitimate issue caused more by the game's loot system that would be best fixed by either implementing personal loot drops, or the other option YoshiP and his team was considering, which was to limit drops to only the classes running that particular instance (Ideally with a flat 25% chance to roll a particular class in 4-man dungeons, with same-class parties combining their drop chances to compensate for the roll competition).

The Need/Greed system isn't really at fault for that, though.
