    I'm really into housing and I have more than one house.. IF you count the mansion as even being MY house, it's my FC's house... that I paid for solely. Some people really like pvp, some people really like pve, I really REALLY like housing. I'm also an RPer if that helps? I've made my small house into a 'public rp tavern' in the past and have actually logged in to find people in there using it. That's really nice to see, I always leave my houses unlocked so people can RP in them or just look around. Always kinda baffles me when people get scared and run like frightened bunnies when I catch them in my house. Either way, I paid my gil, I'm very active and my houses always have the newest stuff in them. I put in my time and effort. I deserve to have my plots as much as anyone else.


    I post this almost everywhere I post, but if you want a tip on getting a house that isn't from a goddamn reseller.. check the crystals on the hour every hour. Yeah seems like a lot of work, but it's definitely worth it. I can confirm that housing does demolish on the hour. On a busy server like Balmung you MIGHT need friends at the other city state's aetherytes to help you find your house as quickly as possible, but it works. Houses pop up a reasonable amount, if I really wanted to I could have a house on each of my characters above 50. On Balmung. Whenever I see people saying ONE HOUSE PER ACCOUNT, I think, no, no. MORE wards. They are affordable enough. But if the supply and demand were skewed, there would be no resellers. This isn't the 90ies, server resources shouldn't be an issue with the amount of cash they bring in in the cash shop alone, our subscriptions aside.

    Wait what, Gilgamesh is out of apartments too? It's not just a Balmung issue? Gotta love everyone assuming that's a Balmung only issue.

    I have always stood by, if someone can afford it in game, they should have it. I wouldn't even care of my houses were instanced and had to be selected from a list to see, if it makes everyone else able to have one.

    There are still vacant apartments on Gilgamesh. I just checked as of March 11 2017 7:00pm cst. I did not check every ward and subdivision. Just trying to post some examples that empty apartments do remain for people to buy on Gilgamesh. If someone is looking for The Mist - The Topmast, you might want to hurry it up abit because I was quite surprised I found anything vacant there. And also when looking for vacancies, choose the subdivisions and choose the middle ones, i.e. subdivisions 5-9 first to find them.

    Lavender Beds - Lily Hills Subdivisions
    6th Ward Subdivision - 30 spots vacant
    11th Ward Subdivision - 11 spots vacant
    5th Ward Subdivision - 64 spots vacant

    The Mist - The Topmast Subdivision
    6th Ward Subdivision - 44 spots vacant

    The Goblet - Sultana's Breath Subdivisions
    I found tons of vacant apartments.

    Would I be just as happy with an instanced house and a communal area for market boards, bells etc. Considering that instancing would give me more options to customise, more furniture slots and remove the threat of reclamation, absolutely!
    A private island in the Sea of Clouds, a beach-side cottage in Mist, offer me something like that and I\\'d be more than happy to trade the neighbours.
    Sometimes I think if there was like an all wards chat channel and more relevant vendors in the wards it would help a lot. If you could turn in your tomes and collectibles and various other stuff In the housing wards as well as had a decent chat network might filter a good chunk of the player Base away from idyllshire. And have players spending more time in the wards

    This one is ridiculous. You seriously want to punish an entire fc just because the fc master does not want or is unable to log in? You don't care if the house is still in regular use by the rest of the fc? Really?

    I get that you're bitter about not having a house. I've been there. The current system sucks. But the majority of what you're suggesting is practically engineering it to be easier to lose a house. Maybe concentrate your energies into suggesting ways to increase the amount of players who have access to housing? SE would be more willing to listen to suggestions that positively affect players as a whole.
