People that do not have money to pay 8.99 or 12.99 a month should be getting a job instead of a fictional house and make priorities of their responsibilities first!

You pretty much lose all respect with comments like these.

Everyone knows that the housing situation is not ideal but taking away a house that someone has presumably worked hard to get because they choose not to pay a sub for a month is extremely pathetic. It took me year's to get a house, and I lost it because I didn't have the time to play when my son was born. Years of waiting and farming, gone in 45 days, and I'm not moaning about it, there the rules and it happened. There are many things in this game that you might not touch for months, like certain jobs, and yet that data doesn't get wiped.

Or better yet they shut down those dead weight servers or don't even give them new zones and use the resources for other servers. If they want to keep current open world system. They need to stop adding houses to a sub 2k server like Mateus.

How is that server even still running? Oh I know they are using full servers to cover for the fact it is a waste of money. Anything with sub 8k player base should be merged. Or removed from all cross server partying systems.

Believe it or not, some people prefer smaller servers when compared to overcrowded ones like Balmung. Mateus is doing just fine :P

Because you guys ended up on a small sever. Then always come on forums and defend SE and say pay to move. We can all make foolish comments. Like give a company more money to fix a problem. Consider Balmung is a legacy server. Not only legacy, but with characters with last names that match the 11 server they are from.

But if you guys had to que with out those full servers filling groups we would see a different type of comment on the forums.Basically SE is double dipping. They use the full servers to fill groups on dead servers. But then they don't allocate resources evenly.

Please, leave housing alone, whatever a Free Company Master does is of no interest for anyone except for himself/herself, they bought their property with hard earned gil, just like I did with mine and I'm surely not to be told what to do with it, Square Enix made their rules already, now don't try to scam people just because they don't want to play!...

If anything the reclaim system needs to be scrapped entirely or extended to at least 180 days.

Especially when Yoshi also says it's OK for players to take breaks when content gets stale. (Not if they want to keep there house it isn't)

Similarly, these older MMOs also had a system where your house would break down if you didn’t log in after a while in order to have you continue your subscription, but this is a thing of the past and we won't have any system like that.

To be fair, the amount of property that was freed up when they did the 45 day thing was amazing and active players finally got property that is being used.

Though there are still tons of "empty" properties that are there for owning it sake. I try buy one all the time but people are sometimes quite unreasonable with how much they ask for (ranging from 30 to 50mil for a Small house).
