PS4 on MacOS questions

I have downloaded the game for the mac( macbook pro 13 2016 i5/512) and it works pretty well. I got some questions for my fellow mac users.

1-I tried the Horipad ultimate and the d-pad didn\\\\'t work. A lot of people suggested me to use the PS4 controller. Does it work well on a mac?

2-Any bugs that I should aware of or I am ok to play the mac version?

The ds4 control works well with my experience tho sometimes it shifts to the Xbox layout now and the. But mostly it works fine with the exception of the touch pad not working

I have the DS4 for my mac, it works alright. I needed the USB pairing stick though, even when it said it was connected over bluetooth it didn't actually work. I might have configured something wrong, but all my poking at it wasn't able to get me to use it over bluetooth. Stick works fine though.
