tbh i dont mind having those ingame if it means pleasing a certain group of people (like the OP) for immersion. we have mounts and teleports for people who don't want to travel that much anyway
but from those images (are they from 1.x??) i can see that they're way too bland and boring.. could use more detail in the environment
They're likely from escaping the normal paths and exploring the out-of-bound areas. They're meant to be background and not seen close-up, and so aren't as detailed.tbh i dont mind having those ingame if it means pleasing a certain group of people (like the OP) for immersion. we have mounts and teleports for people who don't want to travel that much anyway

Of course if you could walk everywhere instead of zoning, they'd need to fill in details for all those long boring stretches or it'd look pretty much like this. Lots of work.
Oooh, shiney...

I merely posted these to show OP that the North Shroud being devoid of snow is justified. There's just too much distance between it and Coerthas.tbh i dont mind having those ingame if it means pleasing a certain group of people (like the OP) for immersion. we have mounts and teleports for people who don't want to travel that much anyway

As to where these screenshots have been taken or whose screenshots they are... who knows?![]()
