i don't see how you consider fatigue didn't punish you. if you got deep enough into fatigue you could get 0 sp. this way you do 0 damage so you would get 0 sp.I do not like this idea at all. It's worse than fatigue.
However, it's not like the fatigue system, as some people say, as fatigue wasn't really a way of punishing you. It was just poorly named. Fatigue was an EXP bonus that ran dry over use and regenerated over time. Exactly like Aion does.
This renders you useless and effectively stops your EXP gain unless you shug out more gil.

I never actually got to 0 SP per mob, even after playing for hours. I would get smaller amounts unless I killed higher-level mobs, then I'd get more at a constant rate. I could be wrong, though--though I do remember the devs in those times saying that that is how it worked.

i was one of the grindaholics and i can say a mob that started around 250 would give my round 50 by the end of the week. i do know a few that claimed to have hit 0, but i never seen ss's to prove it. the devs did say it was possible to hit it though.I never actually got to 0 SP per mob, even after playing for hours.
