The fatigue system made it so we didn't get EXP. This makes it so we can't even play."70% (Tired Stage 1): Reduce Character Stats by 20%
50% (Tired Stage 2): Reduce Character Stats by 50%
0% (Exhaust): Here is the point where your character will not be able to deal any DMG, and Reduce Character Stats by 100%"
Aha, because not being able to fight or craft or gather AT ALL and therefore not getting exp until we are not "tired" anymore is nothing like the fatigue system we thankfully got rid of..
The fatigue system wore off after not playing or playing as a different job for a while. The makes it so you have to pay 50k.
This isn't the same as the fatigue system. Its much worse.
self quote:
I think it is my fault for not write about how long it take to increase, but if I suggest that you CAN NOT fight at all when stamina gauge become 0%, I WILL NOT suggest that you waste 50k to increase the stamina gauge on the open field & dungeon or bother to write about "Player CS".There are 2 type:
Player CS: Buy from NPC (have to buy, cant craft or get as drop) : 50k/each Duration 1h
*Addition: Player can keep the CS system alive(inrease CS duration) by use "supply items" inside the CS area. Sell for 500 gil/each at the same NPC*
City/Camp CS: In every city & every camp
Ever bother to read and think about why it have only 1h duration ? that is because it wont take long to get back the stamina, do i really need to point this out ?
I am hands up on this community, Amen
edit: by say "my fault" mean I am being polite, I do expect ppl can think, but I guess I expect to much

Hmm, this would tip this game quite a bit more into being like every other MMO. Stat boosts should realistically be reserved for gear and buffs from another class like BRD for example, this would make it far too easy to make the game less group oriented. This as a gil sink would be ok if it didn't essentially unbalance things in the long run.
Gil sinks would be things like Dynamis from XI (used to cost 1 million per glass, multiple groups could end up buying a glass = hundreds of millions gone just like that) or Limbus -- Basically content that cost you a decent amount of gil to participate in.
It's not exactly like Fatigue, it's more like how MMOs award bonus XP for not playing their game -- Eventually you'll normalize back to your usual levels if not lower in some cases, however being reduced to no damage is like the fatigue system that people ironically complained about (given the push for catering this game to people who can only play 5 hours a week) so yeah, I'd vote no as well.
The idea isn't too bad, but the fact that its just purchasable from an NPC sucks.
Give it to DoH imo. A little box that emmits a glow or something.
... Would this be optional? Because I have to agree, this sounds too much like the fatigue system that was removed because nobody liked it.

this video sums it up for me.
I do. But IMO it does not fit thif NES-like FF...too complex. Maybe we should suggest it to Hello Kitty online since it's a much more complex MMO.
I suggested a similar mechanics a while ago to them...when they first announced the removal of stamina system. IMO it not only adds realism to the game but also would add strategy. My suggestion (part of it) was rewritten at my blog...just search "stamina gauge" at lodestone if you feel curious about what i suggested. But mine was an automated regeneration mechanics, like the original stamina system...not gil sink.
What the posters are trying to say is:
They want to be able to log on and play until they are tired IRL and not have the game "pretend" they are too tired to play...because they are not too tired to play...
Does that make more sense?

Why do you blame the community?
If your the only one that can understand it, and its confussing to everyone else, your answer is that everyone in the community but you has an issue. Not certain that logic will help you get your meaning out.
yes, it sound like the fatigue system, with the exception it work on stats instead exp and the malus you need to PAY to inflict damage.
Seriusly, this can be an interesting mechanism for a boss fight, but not for an entire game
